OFFICIAL HOUSE RULES & GUIDELINES
Please adhere strictly to these guidelines to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable stay.
🕒 1. TIMES & OCCUPANCY
Check-In: From 15:00 PM onwards.
Check-Out: Strictly by 10:00 AM.
🌅 Early Check-Out (Before 08:00 AM): Press the button marked "Press button to check out", leave the key inside the lock on the inside of the door, and pull the door shut behind you. The main gate will open automatically and close on its own afterwards.
Visitors: No unauthorized overnight visitors are permitted on the premises.
🚭 2. SMOKING, VAPING & QUIET HOURS
Linen Care: Please help us keep our linen white by removing all makeup before going to bed.
Bed Policy: Strictly do not eat or drink in the bed.
Smoke-Free Inside: The unit is 100% smoke-free. No cigarettes, cigars, or electronic cigarettes (vapes) are allowed inside.
Patio / Outdoor Area: Smoking is only permitted outside. According to Namibian law, you must smoke at least 2 meters away from any openable windows, doors, and building entrances. This rule applies to both traditional cigarettes and vapes. Violators face an official legal fine of up to N$4 000. Please use the provided ash bakkie.
Quiet Hours: No loud music, shouting, or noise between 22:00 PM and 06:00 AM. No parties.
🧼 3. SECURITY, CLEANLINESS & RENEWABLE ENERGY (Solar Power)
Water Conservation: Please spare water and use it sparingly. Every drop counts.
Towels: Please leave used towels on the floor upon your departure.
Air Conditioner (AC): Powered by solar energy. Keep the AC set to 22°C. Do not set it lower than 22°C or higher than 23°C. Switch the AC off completely whenever you leave the unit.
Fridge Settings: Do not adjust the temperature settings of the refrigerator.
Kitchen Appliances: Ensure the stove, kettle, and air fryer are switched off whenever you go out.
Lights & Trash: Turn off all lights when not needed. Use the kitchen and bathroom bins provided.
Security: Lock all doors and windows securely when leaving the unit or going to sleep.
Damages: Please report any breakages, stains or issues immediately to the host (Martin).
🚨 4. EMERGENCIES & SAFETY
Fire Extinguisher: Located outside, directly next to the front door for your safety.
First Aid Kit: Please use the first aid kit strictly for medical emergencies only.
